The Angela cherry is a sweet cherry cultivar (Prunus avium).[1] It is a glossy black fruit with a dark, sweet red flesh, and it can be used in dessert recipes.[2] It is resistant to cherry buckskin disease (also known as X-disease), a virus-like disorder that affects sweet cherries[3], and has a low cracking average.[4]
